NO The rom is not OK. you think this like many, but it is not so.

All the rom with rkremote inside have many problems, the first is the wifi lag that you note. rkremote change the source code of Android in many parts very sensitive, and make unstable many things that you will discover with the time.

Test DroidMote on a good device but specially with a real Android rom without strange chinese things inside and you can understand the differences.

you can install this rom http://d-h.st/qCl on your T428 and you can compare the differences (stability,speed,wifi,antutu scores). This rom is a standard Android without strange chinese things inside.

I know that DroidMote is 1000 times better than rkremote, my problem is not this, but my problem is that rkremote ruin many roms of many android hdmi sticks, and can't be uninstalled becauce modify the Android source code.

Is the best rom for videos, xbmc and wifi

Is one of the few rom that comes close to a real Android.

I found this rom on freaktab forum.

To install this rom, you should use the tool inside the rar file and select manually from the folder rockdev the files:

loader
parameter
misc
boot
kernel
recovery
system

I have a T428 using the nexus sdk2 rom found at freaktab.com over wifi
Droidmote works very well with this setup, however, while playing a video, droidmote starts to lag quite a lot. This happens when I am playing a youtube video, netflix (xposed workaround), hbo go, and plex. The cursor takes a couple of seconds to appear, becomes very jumpy and difficult to control while any video is playing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to correct this problem?

Also, the media buttons (play, fast forward, rewind etc.) do not line up with Plex. Plex also has a forward 30 second, back 15 second feature that I would love to map to droidmote, but these buttons autohide, they are not always visible. Is it possible to map these to droidmote using a touch profile?

I have your same setup but i don't have lag. But my router is very close to my T428. Try also restart your router.

Or if possible test also with different wifi channel on your router.

For the media button, if plex accept keyboard key or shortcut you can customize droidmote.kl , otherwise you can create a touch profile for plex.

I'm testing also the new strauzo rom nexus multi-windows. Very good rom and very good little developer
