Cant control the server

I just installed the client side on a galaxy S2 and a server side on a hackberry.
The hackberry is rooted.
I checked prerequisites but I still am not able to control the server like I should.
None of the features is working.

I granted root permission to droidmote.

When i connect to the server I can see on the screen that i got connected but the mouse is not working.

Any idea?

My galaxy S2 (client) is not rooted. Is that a problem?
