I'm mounting my NAS using the inbuilt Mout Network Storage option in the Nvidia settings which seems to work fine. However, I'm getting a 'Network Storage Settings has stopped' error every 5-10 minutes. I've clean flashed again thinking that could be the issue but no luck. Having my NAS mounted is absolutely essential.

Any advice?

EDIT - just in case I tried with 7.2.3 instead of 7.2.2 but the result is the same, a 'Network Storage Settings has stopped' error every 5-10 minutes. The SMB NAS I'm logging into is secure so requires a password. Can anyone think of a way around this? It doesn't give this error on any of the stock builds I've tried and the full Pie build currently isn't an option because there is no Nvidia settings to natively mount NAS with it being based on Lineage and none of the 3rd party apps to do it work.

Hey Zulu, hope you had a good holiday.

I've been having a bit of a flash and crashfest...

I am now on Zulu's Oreo rom and it works ok except if I clear data/cache or try to uninstall an app, the console reboots immediately.

I don't understand why it does this. I have tried flashing stock 7.2.2 and then back to Zulu Oreo, but this does not help. What else can I try, there is obviously something wrong, and I have done factory resets, -w in fastboot etc... still this problem?

Help please
Mark.

Hello long time droid user here.
Still not shure how to upgrade. I don't want to brick.

Can I just flash the latest stock recovery 8.0 over full Android.
When do I fastboot -w. Before I flash stock or after?

Going frigging NUTS.
I can't set my shield to Allow USB Debugging because when the "Allow this computer" pops up, the mouse/keyboard is disabled.
I with droidmote but droidmote says I am not rooted... I'm on Zulu Oreo... so I thought it WAS rooted??

Catch 22.
I can't root without a custom recovery.
I cannot get custom recovery without being able to do a fastboot
I cannot do fastboot because I cannot say OK to have this computer always be accepted for debugging
I cannot say OK because my mouse/keyboard stops working when the debug connected to this computer OK? notice pops up
I cannot use droidmote because I am not rooted!!!

aaauuuggghhhhh.........!!!!

What is one meant to use if a mouse/keyboard do not, the Shield remote does not, you are unrooted so cannot use droidmote... so what to do?

NOT a problem as far as I know, I went from 7.2.3 stock to Zulu's Oreo full.
