DroidMote Client with Bluetooth Connection

A little explanation to connect DroidMote Client to another Android device over bluetooth.

DroidMote Client work over tcp/ip. In every device, android , windows and linux you can have a tcp/ip in different way. With wired ethernet (standard ethernet port of your device), ethernet wifi (the wifi module of your device internel or usb), but many people don't know that can have a tcp/ip connection also in other mode, with bluetooth, infrared , optical fiber etc. etc.

Well, after this introduction, let's see how to create a tcp/ip connection between two android devices over bluetooth. When we have a tcp/ip connection over bluetooth, we can start first DroidMote Server and then DroidMote Client, click search on connection dialog box of DroidMote Client and connect it to DroidMote Server.

1) On Android DroidMote Server device go in Android System Settings -> More -> Tethering & portable hotspot and active Bluetooth tethering

2) On Android DroidMote Server device ative the internet connection (wifi or 3G or LTE)

3) On Android DroidMote Client device search bluetooth devices and pair this device with the server device and use the shared internet connection of the server.

Well , now you can surf internet in the Client device with the internet connection shared from the server device.

4) Start DroidMote Server, be sure that the button became red and you see an ip address.

5) Start DroidMote Client and click search on the connection dialog box to find the active servers or put manually the ip address that you see on the server side.

Well you have DroidMote over bluetooth, but you can run also every app that utilize the tcp/ip protocol.

Tested with DroidMote Server on Galaxy S 3 and DroidMote Client on Galaxy S 2
