Today i buyed a Tronsmart T428 on geekbuying.com

I buyed the Tronsmart T428 because it have as wifi module the Broadcom AP 6330 with also 5Ghz band . Usefull for wifi direct dedicated channel , like all new good phone with miracast functions.

As they arrive we will test.

My first impression is that the hardware is very good, but the android rom is very joung.

On tronsmart T428 i installed the original 4.1.1 firmware and now is fine.

The 4.2.2 firmware have many problems, and is not for rk3188 in my opinion.

But on the other hand, with the 4.1.1 firmware the device behaves wonderfully

Finally a real Android experience on an hdmi stick. I love this firmware.

i get a Epipe error when i start the server... is because i dont have busybox and supersu installed?

Yes you need an app that manage the root permissions like supersu and busybox installed. You can download and install roms already rooted.

I suggest to use a rom without rkremote inside. All the rom with rkremote inside have many problems, because this app go to modify the source code of Android, making it unstable. It inject events directly in the ui by changing the source code of the window manager. It also creates many problems in WiFi connection. In my T428 i use the 4.1.1 rom that don't have inside Chinese modifications.
