Doesn't stay connected on Ubuntu

Hello, I like the Android client/server programs.

Now I am trying to connect to my Ubuntu box.
I run the program under Linux as myself or root and the result is the same:
- tablet connects
- Linux app prints something like: Client connected with thread -1216726208
- nothing works on tablet and Android client menu still shows Connect instead of Disconnect
- can keep connecting, but it never stays connected and I can't move the mouse, etc.

Just downloaded the Sep 14 dated Linux version.
DroidMote Client 3.1.0 on an ASUS TF201 running Jelly Bean.
Ubuntu 12.04 on an old 32bit x86 Dell box.

You must have the last version of the Client but also the last version of the DroidMote Linux Server that you can download from the last thread "Downloads".

When you run the DroidMote Linux Server not forget to start it with root permissions.

from your word and what happen seem thet you have or an old DroidMote for Linux version, or old client. be sure to have the last version.

I uninstalled and reinstalled on my tablet and everything is working fine now.
