Please, before write a new question, make a search in the forum. We already wrote this.

Yes, at first setup, you must update manually the Google play with the last version from apkmirror.com
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc ... -download/

This happen because i don't want change the build.prop from foster_e to full_foster_e.

I not change the build.prop because some stupid developers can check fields inside the build.prop to make app restrictions. But is also not logic and good behaviour that Google update the Google play based on your build.prop. The update should be made based on previous version.

However, when you install a Google Play version with high version number, it will update always with an higher version and you should not have others unwanted updates of the bad Android Tv version.

@zulu99
i seem to be having an issue creating backups, tried making back up of kodi and i got error message saying (destination not writable) this is only with external storage , usb and sd card, also when i plunged the shield to my pc the storage was not listed, only after installing full marshmallow, i read some where about this issue but for the life of me i cant find it.
iv gotten everything working you have listed in op, including xposed and gravity box, i cant thank you enough for this work!

to see the storage on pc, you must slide down the status bar and select mtp. like on all marshmallow devices.

about backup, i made my backups with FlashFire and all work well. i don't know what you use.

also now xda continue earning from my posts with ads.
strange persons.... xda can earn from my work and a developer can't speak about his app also if in the thread publish a free firmware and not an app.
Ridculous and stupid. ;)

if droidmote is not perfect, find the problem in your local area network, or in wifi of your phone / server.
without network problems droidmote must work without any lag.

i use droidmote client on a galaxy S6, the server on Shield TV and i have Wifi AC 5ghz for normal distances and Wifi N for longer distances.
