Zulu,
I uninstall playstore updates, then force close play store, then reinstall the newest foster E version, then my play store works for a while. But then later it stops again and reverts back to that weird e-xhdpi version and won't load.

Why is this happening? How can I fix it without a full wipe. I'm seriously not interested in losing all of the hours I've put into setting this device up properly.

Thanks

install normally with system.img and fastboot
after if you want you can create a backup with flashfire and with this backup you can do what you want.

if you not solve you can edit the build.prop in system folder and the build.prop in vendor folder. replace full_foseter_e instead foster_e
but i don't have this problem for now.

Any idea what would have caused my build prop to change?

I completely reinstalled and I updated the play store with the one you linked... and 3 days go by. Then Magically google sends me the android tv play store again.... I think maybe it is because your not in the USA or something is why your not getting hit with the playstore... My dpi is defgault I never changed it.. .And I did a CLEAN install agian today. And I updated the play store and WITHIN SECONDS after I get the update again... This is what I did

1. REMOVE INTERNET UNPLUG ETHERNET

2. CLEAN INSTALL (WIth STOCK 3.1 from NVIDIA)

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash staging blob
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
adb wait-for-device
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
fastboot -w
fastboot reboot

3. Go and enable USB Debugging

4.Clean Rom Install (With FULL MM 2.1)

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
fastboot -w
fastboot reboot

5.Install google shit
Install Google play service 9.2.56 (430-124593566)
install Google Play Store 6.7.13.E-all [0] 2920566

6. Plug Internet In and Wait....
within 10 seconds It updates tp xhdpi and no more playstore........ FK ME

they roll updates out to other countries different maybe that is why your playstore works....

Just wanted to chime in. I've been using this ROM for about a month withoit play store issues until just recently. Play services updates play store within seconds after deleting/installing play store from apk mirror. Haven't tried editing the build prop file yet.... Grrrrr!!
