(server on the shield and client on phone)
but for each touch game you need a profile (on the server/shield)?
yes, i play everything with my phone, but the touch profile can be loaded on the phone from client settings, not on Shield TV.
is more simple and you can change many profiles.
You can also create your custom profiles with your phone in 2 minutes with the app Touch Profile Creator. you need only the screenshot of the game.
in the videos that i published you can find also the touch profile already made by me. there are hundreds of games.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... B9D757086B
The soft controller of DroidMote is not only for touch games but also for games that require a normal controller. In fact by default DroidMote emulate a real controller with 16 buttons and 8 axes. When from client settings you select gamepad2touch and select a touch profile, you can play also with touch/only games.
If instead you prefer an hardware controller, you can tether the hardware controller to your phone and load droidmote touch profiles, or you can run the server and the client on shield tv and connect the hardware controller directly to shield tv.
If you watch my videos, you can understand better.
To start you can read this guide:
https://www.videomap.it/dmcguide.htm
P.S.
In others words, to start, watch my videos gameplay, if you like the game, download the touch profile, load it in droidmote client and play. there is nothing more simple than this. The touch mouse is a special mouse that you can enable from client settings and you can use when you can-t click with the normal mouse on some games. With droidmote you can control everyhing on your TV from your couch, multi touch is not a problem.

Hi Zulu99
Thank YOU for your answers.
Do i need to do this to the full android 1.4 system.img before I flash it on my SATV (500gb version):
I keep getting this
If I clean user data with TWRP as suggested in an earlier post
TWRP > Wipe > data & cache (what about Dalvik - necessary or not?)
will this sort out the issue above?
Thanks

?if you not solve you can edit the build.prop in system folder and the build.prop in vendor folder. replace full_foseter_e instead foster_e
I keep getting this

this is not important for you now.
about the command fastboot -w, the Shield 500GB have problems with this command cause the large hard drive, but you can use TWRP to wipe user data and cache. this sould be sufficient.

Re: [ROM][Full Android Marshmallow for Shield TV][v.1.4]
Hi
I run in an issue: power got cut while I was wiping user data with "fastboot -w"
and now the my SATV pro keeps looping on nvidia logo and then this TWRP screen (TWRP is still installed):
I tried to restore the nvidia stock 3.1 recovery but it still boots the same way.
Can someone please tell me how to solve this?
Thanks a lot

Re: [ROM][Full Android Marshmallow for Shield TV][v.1.4]
I post this message, so you know that some games ( for now very limited number ) can check the xposed presence and not works if xposed is active. This fact is independent from this firmware, but for sure many good boys will solve also this.
Is also true that now is very simple uninstall and reinstall xposed with FlashFire
FlashFire can install everything TWRP can but from inside android without go in recovery, very useful also to create and restore backup and many others things.
The game is HIT, Heroes of Incredible Tales, Unreal Engine 4.
This is my gameplay when i removed momentary Xposed Framework:

I hate who add impositions and limitations inside Android and who try to limit users.

Re: [ROM][Full Android Marshmallow for Shield TV][v.1.4]
I read better your messages, and what happen is normal. Mainly you don't have the data patrition because the command fastboot -w failed.beng wrote:I flashed twrp-20160222-UNOFFICIAL-foster.img

If you want clear data partition with TWRP, you can use directly TWRP without use before the command fastboot -w
( in case you already suspect that fastboot -w can fail )
To solve:
Reinstall the stock firmware with the NVIDIA SHIELD ANDROID TV Pro Recovery OS 3.2 Image that Nvidia publish on his website.
https://developer.nvidia.com/gameworksd ... nal,shield
when you have the stock firmware working, you can reinatall full android 1.4 system and vendor images and since you have Shield TV 500 GB, clear the data partition with TWRP without using at all the command fastboot -w
I suggest to boot the TWRP recovery without install: fastboot boot your_twrp_recovery.img
P.S.
fastboot -w work also on Shield 500GB, but is a very long procedure because the large hard drive of the Shield TV Pro model.
So to save time, you can use TWRP to clear data / cache or a factory reset from inside android, after the first boot, if you have the stock recovery.
If fastboot -w fail, is normal that you don't have a valid data partition. TWRP can't find nothing and also Android can't boot normal.
If fastboot -w fail you can reinstall the stock firmware or complete the long fastboot -w procedure. ( long only on Shield TV 500GB )
