Please, dont act like that. I rly appreciate someone wants to help me - thats for sure. So sory if you feel bad about my post i rly dont want to "ask for help and being rude same time" to the helpers. I also checked your last post with apk ofc. but regarding to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESay1j6iVK8 it looks like that installer needs to be connected to destinatin device via network for install applications into destination sd card. And i am not able to connet shield via network in full android environment. In SATV is possible by Access shield folders from PC in storage settings, but in full androind, i dont know/i cant see this option to activate access via network. So thats why i feel hopeless.

All you need to do is unplug Ethernet cable sign into your WiFi open browser and go to the link I posted download the apk installer ...make sure that in the date/time settings the year is correct or else you won't be able to do anything online....you can also go to google play store within browser sign into your account and choose apk installer select shield as device and it will install the apk onto your shield and from there you can install the play store update the one with f in the name

All you need to do is unplug Ethernet cable sign into your WiFi open browser and go to the link I posted download the apk installer ...make sure that in the date/time settings the year is correct or else you won't be able to do anything online....you can also go to google play store within browser sign into your account and choose apk installer select shield as device and it will install the apk onto your shield and from there you can install the play store update the one with f in the name

To install an apk in full Android at first setup, you can download the apk with the internal aosp browser, disable unknow source from Android settings, open the download icon from app drawer and click on the apk.

The internal browser work and download well, if you have problem is your specific problem. Reinstall to correct.

In alternative, you can download the apk on the PC
and with a simple command you can install

adb install you_app.apk

But this are really very basic thing that every android user should know and is only one of the millions alternatives that you can use to install an apk.

If you don't know this, for the moment, before you understand Android, full Android is not for you because you don't know how to have all others millions things that a complete android version can offer. In this way you can't also understand why Android is 10000000000 times better than Android TV.

I try to explain also very basic things, but i became nervous when things are too basic because i think:

So my suggestion is, before install full Android on Shield TV, read guides on internet and watch videos on youtube to undetstand how many things you can do with Android.

If you are an Iphone users, buy before an Android phone and after install full Android on Shield TV.

Sorry but i'm an human like all others, and sometimes, expecially after a very complicated work to produce a perfect firmware, i became nervous reading some things.

But don't worry, i know that big companies exploit the ignorance of users to commit their abuses and for this reason the sharing of information is very important, therefore the fact that i became nervous is only my problem that i must correct, and should not be so if we want a better digital future fo all.

Thanks to you to accept also my bad character, the problem is that only one person can't help well thousands of users.
Is a simple problem that i don't want understand.
But is my problem.

For example now i'm already in full immersion to understand how to build a full Android 7 Nougat for Nexus Player.

I need help from others advanced users if i want continue my work on firmwares and at same time support users.

downloaded apk installer you recomended into pc, then pushed it with adb install apkname.apk. so it was installed on shield on applications. then i opened it and saw that in local appks there wasnt play store offered. so i guessed i have to push it somehow there. i dint know where from it maps folder with apks to install but i tried guess it can be Download folder on storage. so i pushed google play appks which i want to isntall into Download folder by adb push apkname /sdcard/Download ....and voilaaa, google store was visible between apks to install in apk installer. so i installed it and it waorks now !!!

i feel so proud of myself !! Just joking. put smile on your faces guys and have nice day. Thx to all

I'm finishing the Full Android Nougat for Nexus Player, for this reason i'm very busy. I hope that in few days the work will be terminated.

Does this procedure remove the ability to play GeForce NOW games? If it doesn't, do they still work with the Nvidia Controller? What about with the Xbox 360 controller (which on the regular Nvidia ROM it does not).

Also, does the Nvidia Controller touchpad work with this ROM?

GeForce NOW works very well and you can download it directly from google play.
The Nvidia controller work only in usb mode, all others controllers wireless, wired and bluetooth works very well.
